This word has impacted my life Greatly! It was 6 years ago the Lord began taking me on this crazy journey. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The lord asked me to leave everything behind; my job, my car, my family and ultimately my comfort. I chose to say yes, but what was I saying Yes to? I thought it was to go on an eleven month mission trip, but found out quickly that I was saying yes to so much more. Leaving everything behind to go all over the world was a physical representation of a deeper truth that I started opening my heart up to.

It was the hardest and most painful year of my life, but brought healing into areas that I didn't even know I needed.  Every YES since then has only brought me closer, longing for more of Him, longing for all that He is to be all that I am. I longed to not just know in my head that I was loved, but to have a deep experience of His love.

This journey took me to many places overseas and here in the U.S, but it has brought me to one place; the feet of Jesus. He has broken off perfectionism, delivered me from fear and caused me to see Him in all His beauty. As Him and I continue to walk through the fire of refinement and into a greater hope for what tomorrow may hold, I know there is one that holds me and that will never change.

In September 2018, the Lord asked me to go with Him to South Asia for 6 months.  It was through my time there that I discovered my passion for women’s ministry and my desire to walk other ladies into healing. I loved it so much that I decided to go back long-term.

About 14 months ago while Covid was still happening, I received all the support I needed and was ready to go back to South Asia. Instead, the Lord called me to come to Georgia and do full time women’s ministry with Adventures in Missions.

He had literally set me up in a good way, ofcourse! It was a season of growth and deeper emotional healing. He began increasing my vision and revealing to me that there was more. Three years later, I find myself saying YES again, but in a new way.

After lots of prayer and confirmation, the Lord has asked me to lay down going to South Asia long term and working at Adventures in Missions. I have been with them since 2016 and I am so honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to work with this organization. Their hearts for Jesus and the way they are leading young people to the heart of the father is beautiful.

I have officially been accepted into “Jesus School” a discipleship school that focuses on being at the feet of Jesus .  I will be receiving bible based teaching, serving in the church, on the streets and in the community.

The most beautiful YES I could ever give is the one I have given to Him. I’ve learned that it’s not about a destination, but It’s about ONE and His name is Jesus!
